I installed the Mozilla suite slim alternatives Firebird and Thunderbird today, and spent most of the morning trying to carry over my old mail files (to no avail, unfortunately). A bit of information I found useful - These two are stand-alone programs, that you can just unzip to their own directories. They don't have installers, and won't interfere with your old Mozilla installion. This way you can switch back if you want. I like Thunderbird over Mozilla mail, though. They fixed the reappearing Preview Pane bug, and links in messages now no longer spawn 2 duplicate browser windows. Don't forget to add extensions to Firebird!
And, thanks to
foxhack, I was able to ride Yoshi. Yippie Kie Yay! 8)
